Chaotic scenes at Newcastle's infamous Bigg Market on Spring Bank Holiday
Party-goers were spotted taking advantage of the Spring Bank Holiday on the streets of Newcastle. Revellers were pictured taking photos with armed police, a recent addition to the streets in the wake of the Manchester Arena terror attack last week. Here some evidence of the crazy night!
Apparently, cops seemed happy to oblige when they were asked for pictures.

On a lighter note, there were a lot of fully grown men wearing Disney princess costumes.
People were surprised to see armed officers, there are usually police presence in the area but never armed. People treated them like a novelty, stopping to speak with them and taking pictures.
