A night at the legendary Cafe de Paris
Monday, 30 of June of 2014
Hello my fellow party animals. My name is Dimitri and I have been a club promoter and event manager for over 3 years, working with London's most exclusive nightclubs. I am here to give you my professional advice on how to prepare and have a clubbing night you will never forget!
I am currently working closely with the legendary Cafe De Paris nightclub situated in the centre of London's West End, Leicester Square.
Cafe De Paris is a well-known club that has been operating for over 100 years in London's nightlife scene and is a great venue for a wild night out! The club features a huge dance floor with a centre stage which you will find on the bottom floor while on the top floor is the VIP area. There are also two private rooms inside - The Blue Bar and The Red Bar for those who like to have a more private party. Cafe de Paris is host to many celebrities, especially on Saturdays! However on Friday's is when you will find the best DJ's rocking the decks!
Due to the high demand of VIP style clubbing, most guests arrive early (around 10 PM) in order to secure their entry and avoid the long queue which forms around 11 PM. I would encourage everyone to be there at 10 pm in order to get in quickly and with little effort. Ladies will get complimentary free entry to the venue before 11 pm.There will be many promoters outside the venue that will tempt you to join their guestlist but you should always stick to the guest list you have originally booked as most of them will tell you lies. Once you reach the front you should tell the person at the door your guestlist name and give your promoter a call when inside so that he/she can take you to their hosting table and provide you with some free drinks to get you started.
The dress code to this venue is smart, classy and sexy. Ladies should stick to a sexy dress with heels although a smart combination of heels and jeans with a smart top and some jewellery would also do the job on Friday nights. On the other side, guys can never go wrong with a black suit, collared shirt and formal shoes. Dark formal jeans with a collared shirt or smart top can also get you in most nights but formal shoes are a necessity as the club will refuse entry to guests wearing dark trainers or black fashion shoes. The overall idea is that each guest should look smart and sexy, rather than casual as this is a very exclusive venue.
The music inside starts with commercial RnB hits, remixed by world-class DJs and then changes towards hip-hop and Rnb hits that will keep you dancing all night long. The atmosphere is amazing and it gets even better once the ceiling pops and little papers start flying everywhere inside.
Remember that the club will always refuse entry to guests who are drunk or too tipsy. For those of you who are around the area early should visit a bar called Zebrano for some pre cocktails. The bar is located at 10 minutes walk from Cafe De Paris at Carnaby Street. There you can get 2 for 1 cocktails before 9.30pm and then make your way back to the club for 10 pm! ;)
