Our Lux family keeps on growing, this time we want to welcome Victoria Magrath to our team, a gorgeous fashion & lifestyle blogger based in Manchester
Victoria is from Wigan but has lived in Manchester for the last 6 and a half years. She has been interested in fashion since high school when she started studying textiles. She loved the idea of starting her own fashion business and designing her own garments. Victoria started her blog “In the Frow” in October 2012 after realizing she enjoyed reading other blogs. Her plan is to continue building her blog as she loves blogging and the buzz she gets from hearing that someone has enjoyed her writing.
Victoria defines her style as eclectic. Somedays she is extremely feminine and girly, others more sophisticated and tailored while other days grunge down into band tees, ripped jeans and biker boots. It all depends on her mood. Her favorite brands are Zara, Topshop, and ASOS with some aspirational designer brands such as Mulberry, Acne, and Givenchy.
Here are some of Victoria's tips for those who are interested in entering the world of fashion blogging:
“Anyone aspiring to build a successful blog needs to realize it takes a massive amount of effort and time. No blog gets successful overnight, and I feel that a lot of people don’t realize just how hard it can be to put so much effort into it. But if you are truly passionate and want to get your voice and opinions out there, make sure you are honest with yourself and don’t copy what someone else is doing. Be you and I'm sure others will listen.”
