We welcome a new member to the Lux family! A stylist, journalist and the author of LelaLondon.com.
Lela’s hometown used to be London but recently moved to Leeds. She started her blog when working as a stylist. She wanted to add a creative twist to her career and that's when she created LelaLondon.com. Lela describes her style as adventurous, feminine and colorful. She is not too brand-focused but does have favorite designers such as Mary Katrantzou, Simone Rocha, and Ashish.
LelaLondon.com is a fashion / beauty / lifestyle / music / travel blog. It is a mix of the things she loves and the things that excite her. On a freelance basis, she has worked with several blogs such as HungerTV.com. Lela loves everything about blogging but dislikes the negative connotations that sometimes come with the word 'blogger', that won’t stop her. Her passion is fashion and writing and in her blog, she can blend the two. London is one of her inspirations as there is almost too much to do. The constant buzz and mixture of cultures in London are what inspires her.
A little more of Lela: Her favorite film is Battle Royale. She loves flying. One of her wishes is to step inside the mind of Karl Lagerfeld. She believes in the power of defining moments. And, yes, she is a geek at heart.
She had her farewell party at Kensington Roof Gardens with London Lux.
