Hakkasan

If you’re a Chinese food lover you should definitely give a chance to this brilliant restaurant. More than a decade after it started wowing London’s big spenders with its classy Cantonese cooking, this Michelin-starred trendsetter remains a benchmark.  

There are two of this restaurants, so you’ll have more chance to book a table. The first it is situated in Mayfair (Adress: 17 Bruton Street) and the second one near Oxford Street (Adress: 8 Hanway Place).

The basement’s stylish interior (all dark wood lattice screens and moody lighting) still attracts the kind of beautiful people who might suppress their appetites. The menu is very varied, all delicious plates. The prices go from £17-£61 (main courses). Travel to the old Chinese culture without moving from London!

Corrigan's Mayfair  

In the heart of Mayfair, we find this classical, sumptuous and luxurious restaurant. As your coats are taken and reservations checked, a pianist tinkles away on a baby grand by the entrance of Richard Corrigan’s Mayfair restaurant.

Pure luxury seeps from the copper-panelled walls in Corrigan’s where, for a price, a near-perfect experience awaits. All menus, the daily ‘market lunch’, bar, à la carte, tasting – are heavy on meat and fish and cooking is absolutely top class.On Sundays, the restaurant offers a Sunday lunch menu, 3 courses for £27.

Nowadays there's much talk about 'letting the ingredients speak for themselves' and 'local and seasonal', but whereas local food is rather complicated for a Mayfair restaurant, Corrigan's delivers convincingly a good and unforgettable experience for this St Valentine’s Day.

Hibiscus

Established since 2007 in the heart of Mayfair, we find this exclusive restaurant which has two Michelin Stars.  

Known for the French cooking, Hibiscus is open for lunch and dinner Tuesday through Saturday. The restaurant offers a seasonal tasting menu (3 courses £87.50,  6 courses £95, 8 courses £105) and there's a 3-course lunch menu for £34.95.

Exceptionally Chef Claude Bosi will be preparing this St Valentine’s Day an indulgent 6-course tasting menu, and his Sommelier team a wine flight to accompany (6 courses £190).  

Hibiscus focuses on seasonal ingredients that are sourced very carefully from British producers, but the dishes Chef Claude Bosi creates from these ingredients clearly have a French temperament.  If you want to try this experience and spend a unique night, you should go to Hibiscus.

The Square

We continue between French stove, and now we recommend the restaurant “The Square”.  

For almost 25 years, The Square in Mayfair has been one of London’s very best restaurants. Haute cuisine with a contemporary flourish is The Square’s calling card, but it is a classicist, not a modernist; his combinations of ingredients may surprise.

With two Michelin stars and quite simply, this is the top-end restaurant against which all others must be measured. It has “exceptional tasting menu” and food that is, without doubt, one of the best restaurants that you must go in London.  

Also, chef-patron Philip Howard has made a special for St Valentine’s Day tasting menu, that you shouldn’t miss ( £150.00 per person). Quality is not cheap, but you won’t be disappointed with this exquisite restaurant, that transport’s you immediately to Paris.
